Our Fabulous Stay at the Nomo Soho Hotel NYC: Hotel Review
Looking for where to stay in New York City? Here’s my NoMo Soho Hotel Review!
NoMo Soho Hotel NYC Review
📍 Location: 9 Crosby Street, New York, NY
If you’re planning a trip to New York City and searching for a place that combines luxury, style, and a bit of an edge, NoMo Soho Hotel should be at the top of your list. This trendy hotel is located right in the heart of Soho, one of NYC’s most fashionable neighborhoods, making it the perfect spot for both first-time visitors and seasoned NYC travelers. My boyfriend and I recently decided to spend a little #staycation here, and I’m excited to share our experience.
Location is everything in New York City, and NoMo Soho fits the bill. Situated on the charming, cobblestone Crosby Street, the hotel is surrounded by high-end boutiques, cozy cafes, and some of the best restaurants NYC has to offer. Soho is known for its artistic vibe and vibrant culture, and NoMo Soho fits right into the scene.
Our #staycation #baecation started with a smooth check-in process. Check-in is at 4 PM, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy a full day in the city before settling into your room. Check-out is at 12 PM, which is later than most NYC hotels, where 11 AM is the standard unless you pay for a late check-out. This extra hour made all the difference, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed morning without feeling rushed.
For those driving into the city, NoMo Soho offers discounted parking at a nearby garage (26 Wooster St.) for $35 per day, which is a steal in a city where parking can easily exceed $60 per day. Just remember to have the hotel receptionist validate your parking ticket when you check in! I recommend dropping off your suitcases at the hotel first; otherwise, you’ll be lugging them for a few blocks from the parking garage. If you prefer public transportation, nearby subway stations include Canal St. with access to the J, Z, N, Q, and 6 trains, making it super easy to explore the rest of the city.
NoMo Soho is not just a hotel; it’s an experience. The moment you step through the gorgeous vine-covered archway entrance, you know you’re in for something special. This entrance is iconic, and you’ve probably seen it all over Instagram. It’s the perfect place to snap a few photos to kick off your stay.
The hotel’s interior is equally impressive. The lobby and common areas are decorated with stunning artwork, including pieces by some of the most famous contemporary artists like Basquiat, Haring, and Warhol. The vibe is trendy and eclectic, with a blend of pop art and street art influences. My boyfriend Aidan described it as “pop art meets street art,” and I couldn’t agree more. The vibrant decor reminded us of Miami’s Wynwood Art District, with its colorful murals and edgy aesthetic.
After taking tons of pics and videos of the art-filled lobby, we headed up to the 2nd-floor reception area. The pink neon “Reception” sign guided us to the check-in desk, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with all the information we needed for our stay, making us feel welcome.
Amenities
Included in our stay:

Rooms
We stayed on the 15th floor, and when the elevator doors opened, I was greeted by a sea of blue—blue carpets, blue walls, and chrome mirrors creating a chic and modern feel. The color scheme was both calming and stylish, setting the tone for the rest of our stay.
Our room was beautiful! The large windows had tons of natural light to flooding into the space, making the room feel bright and airy. The view was gorgeous! The Manhattan skyline at night is so stunning and we had a great view right from our room. It was the perfect backdrop for a cozy evening in.
The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was stocked with Malin & Goetz products, which I thought was such a nice touch. There was also a small desk area, perfect for if you need to get some work done during your stay, and an extra armchair where you can kick back and relax. The decor was a blend of modern minimalism with a touch of artistic flair.

Room Service and Security: Attention to Detail
We decided to take advantage of room service during our stay, and we loved the speed and friendliness of the staff. We ordered a bottle of prosecco and it quickly arrived to our room. The only hiccup was that it was a bit difficult to get through to room service initially, but this was understandable as the hotel was hosting a private event that evening.
Security at NoMo Soho is also top-notch. The hotel has a system in place to check guests in whenever they leave and re-enter the hotel, making sure that only the guests staying at the hotel are granted access. This made us feel safe and secure throughout our stay.
Dining and Nearby Attractions: Explore Soho Like a Local
One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to explore Soho at night. After checking in, we headed out for an early dinner at Little Ways, a nearby restaurant that we love! (Get the crab linguine pasta!) The food was delicious, and the vibe is cozy, trendy and sexy, making it the perfect spot for a date night.
After dinner, we returned to the hotel and had the biggest sweet tooth. We ordered our favorite gourmet Swedish candy, BonBon, right to our room. If you haven’t tried BonBon yet, you’re missing out! It was the perfect way to end our night.
While we didn’t have a chance to dine at NoMo Kitchen this time, it’s definitely on my list for our next visit. The menu features a mix of American and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant’s chic, garden-inspired decor makes it a popular spot for both hotel guests and locals.
Final Thoughts: Would I Stay at NoMo Soho Again?
Absolutely. From the trendy decor to the attentive staff, NoMo Soho exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, putting you right in the heart of one of NYC’s most stylish neighborhoods. Whether you’re in town for business or fun, this hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience.
The views alone are worth a return visit, and I’m already planning my next stay—this time with a reservation at NoMo Kitchen! If you’re looking for a hotel that captures the essence of Soho, look no further than NoMo Soho. It’s a place where art, culture, and luxury come together to create a truly memorable stay.
